Bob and Bridget Gibson opened BG's with one simple idea: serve the best homemade food they could and create a safe, pleasant restaurant where families would feel comfortable coming back again and again.
Fresh ingredients, food cooked to order, and a room that feels welcoming have shaped the place from the start. That same approach is why so many guests become repeat customers and why the restaurant has stayed part of everyday life in Rittman.
As more customers asked for BG's food at their parties, graduations, golf outings, and company events, the catering side of the business grew naturally. More than 15 years later, the goal is still the same: serve food people feel good about sharing and take care of the community that supports the restaurant.
We hand-press every patty fresh. You will never get a frozen burger at BG's. Never have, never will.
